Official Statement on the ICE Murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, MN

Friends, Comrades, and Neighbors,

On this bright Saturday morning following the General Strike, not three weeks since the tragic murder of Renee Good, we are writing to express our anguish and anger on the murder of another community member, Alex Pretti.

We are unsurprised and appalled that the state is also deploying the MN National Guard, not to expel or protect residents from ICE, but to protect the property of the state.

It is clear that it is upon you and your community members to support each other in these dark times. Talk with your neighbors and look out for one another. Train and learn new skills with each other. Be steadfast against those that seek to do us harm. Channel your anger into action for the benefit of your neighbors.

There is no time to wait, act now.
